TPC is being carefully developed (since 2010) by fans and researchers of the Warlords franchise with help from the community. The main goals of TPC are to patch, balance, update and modernize the game in the attempt to realize its maximum potential, whilst also filling it with the life of the hidden-but-deep Warlords universe's lore. Stand-alone means that it can be run without having the original game installed. The Protectors (in short TPC) is a stand-alone mod of the game Warlords Battlecry III, produced by Infinite Interactive.
